STANLEY--HARRISON®

High-Technology Products  to Solve Challenging Fluid System Sealing Problems

Internal Flareless Sleeve

Harrison flareless sleeves and unions offer excellent fatigue strength, with torsional and tensile resistance, and are completely interchangeable with standard MS fittings. Fittings are attached by either elastomeric or roller internal swaging. Elastomeric swaging utilizes a hydrostatic principle which expands the tube outward into machined annular grooves within the fitting. Roller swaging is a tube forming process which uses a roller type mandrel, and is ideal for titanium tubing applications. Harrison flareless sleeves are the lightest weight separable fittings currently available. In addition, Harrison separable fittings are lower in cost than other proprietary fitting concepts. Fittings are available in 15-5PH CRES and titanium materials, in sizes 1/4 through 1 1/2 inches.

External Swage Fitting

Harrison has been licensed to manufacture external swage permanent fittings for aircraft systems. This widely used product is an excellent complement to Harrison internal swage separable fittings. By selecting the appropriate mix of these two components, an engineer may optimize his fluid system design for light weight, high performance, and maintainability. External swage fittings are radially swaged onto the outside tube diameter, allowing in-aircraft installation of shape fittings, such as tees, elbows and crosses. The use of permanent connections, wherever tube assembly disconnection or removal is not required, can result in significant system weight reduction. External swage fittings may be selected in sizes from 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches, in CRES, titanium and aluminum materials, and are suitable for most aircraft tube materials.

H-Fitting®

The Harrison H-Fitting® is a quick, permanent repair fitting for military and commercial aircraft fluid systems. NO TOOLING IS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION. The Harrison H-Fitting® is installed with ordinary wrenches. The five-step procedure is simple to follow and requires no training. The H-Fitting® installs within envelope dimensions similar to those of standard flared and flareless union assemblies. It is ideal for infield repair, and is available in "fly-away" kits. Since this is a permanent connection, no subsequent replacement or maintenance is required. The H-Fitting® is tested and qualified for use on ail common aircraft tubing, including 21-6-9 CRES and 3.0 AL-2.5V titanium, in sizes from 1/4" to 1 1/4 inches.

K-Seals®

Harrison K-Seals® are unequaled in performance by any other static fluid seal in use today. K-Seals® use the compression of machined metal "beams" against the mating surfaces to effect a metal-to-metal, leak proof seal.K-Seals are all metal, with coatings of metal or Teflon The proper combination of base material and coating makes it possible to seal practically any fluid at extreme temperatures and pressures without deterioration over extended periods of time.

K-Seal® Port Seals

Harrison port seals are typically used for improved sealing in the threaded port connections of aircraft and engine components in high temperature environments. Compared to elastomeric or crush-type seals, they offer improved sealing and reusability.
